A little holiday celebration with the sports crew.

Turns out my name is on the "Wanted" DVD afterall, or at least 2 of 3 DVD versions that have the Danny Elfman music video. Neat.

The DVD for the film Wanted was released yesterday.

I actually have a video of mine in it!

A couple friends of mine told me that I made the first pop-rock music video for Danny Elfman since Oingo Boingo. Strange notion.

If you get the 2-disc special edition, or SD collector's edition, you can see my music video "mashup" as they call it. It was a little contest entry to create a music video from a series of film clips for a song by Danny Elfman.. with the most difficult editing interface (flash in a browser) that I ever used in my entire life - so unfortunately I'm not entirely fond of the video but I submitted anyway.

The judge was Mr. Elfman himself, and so I received the call from the contest company and a small check for $150.



There is also work of mine in the hands of the U.S. Secretary of Transportation. I am told the videos will be presented to national press. A local high school student activist group wrote and starred in a series of PSAs that I shot and edited for them through my job at the community tv station.

They are on their way to Washington D.C. today. My name will likely be unseen, but I feel I am okay with that as I'm quite critical over my work on the project - which was completed on a major time crunch. Fortunately this will lead to more work in regards to driver's educational videos as the competition further funds this group.
